(Q) How long have you been taking photos of graffiti & what interests you to do so?

(A) Since like, 05ish – just started to take pics to post on 12oz because the threads there are such bullshit. It became an obsession – an obsession that is fading away more every day now. It’s a cool way to be involved in graffiti without doing it. You still get some fun adventures in and the satisfaction of finding/documenting a cool piece, instead of being out to paint the piece. The more I think about it the more I feel like graffiti documenters are just dick riders. (just kidding)

(Q) Do you own photo albums of actual prints or do you prefer digital?

(A) I think film cameras give a certain vintage look. I dig it. I use a digital camera though.

(Q) How many photos are in your personal collection?

(A) I dont know – a few thousand. Most of them are on flickr.

(Q) Do you feel photography plays a major role in documenting graffiti culture?

(A) Yes. I guess some crews make DVD’s but photography is the main thing for sure in my opinion.

(Q) Do you have any crazy stories or memorable moments while taking photos?

(A) Not really. That usually comes with the other side of graffiti.
