The Daily Fix (Cee Three)
(Q) How long have you been taking photos of graffiti & what interests you to do so??
(A) I’ve been taking photos of graffiti for about 5 years now.. It’s the art, itself, that interests me to go out and take pics.. It’s walking up to a fresh wall, still smelling the paint, and just taking it all in.. I take primarily detail shots, so the most intriguing thing about graffiti for me is the level of skill these artists have.. People have a tendency to dismiss graffiti as an art, but when you get up close and see the detail, from the color combinations & blends, to the composition & movement, how can it not be art??

(Q) Do you own photo albums of actual prints or do you prefer digital??
(A) No, I have a few prints hanging in my place but my flicks live in the land of 0′s & 1′s..

(Q) How many photos are in your personal collection??
(A) My graffiti photos are somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,000+..

(Q) Do you feel photography plays a major role in documenting graffiti culture??
(A) Absolutely!! Just ask people like Henry Chalfant, Martha Cooper, Roger Gastman, Steve Grody, etc, etc..

(Q) Do you have any crazy stories or memorable moments while taking photos??
(A) I really wish I had some exciting stories, but I don’t.. I rarely run into anybody when taking pics, and when I do, they usually just give me weird looks for taking pictures so close to the wall..
